Part 1: Self-improvement & Motivation (Nov. 19)
We want to achieve things, develop further and make the most of our potential. Yet many of us are familiar with the feeling of never quite being good enough. What really motivates us, and when does the desire for personal development turn into pressure to constantly perform better or to improve ourselves?
In this workshop, we’ll take the time to examine our own expectations and drive more closely. We’ll reflect on what matters to us in life, which expectations influence us, and how we can strike a balance between motivation, self-care and the feeling of being enough.
Part 2: The inner critical voice (Dec. 3)
Sometimes we carry a voice within us that accompanies, judges and drives us: ‘That’s not good enough yet’, ‘You should be better’ or ‘You should have tried harder’. Often, this voice has been a familiar one for a long time. However, we are not always aware of where it actually comes from.
In this workshop, we aim to get to the bottom of the inner critic: what experiences and implicit expectations might lie behind it, and what role does it play for us? Through creative exercises and reflection, we’ll create space to better understand our own inner world and develop a more compassionate approach to ourselves.
