Firmenstaffel EVENT
Am Donnerstag, 02.07.2026, findet im Elbauenpark das große Firmenstaffel-Live-Event statt. Dabei laufen Teams bestehend aus 5 Personen eine Staffel über 5 x 3 km. Mitmachen können alle Uni-Angehörigen ? also Beschäftigte, Studierende und Azubis. Insgesamt nehmen mehr als 100 Unternehmen aus der Region mit ca. 5000 Läufer*innen teil.
Findet euch also in 5er Teams zusammen und benennt eine*n Teamkapitän*in. Erfahrungsgemäß ist es auch gut, von vornherein noch eine*n Ersatzläufer*in zu benennen, die*der notfalls einspringt. Außerdem benötigt ihr einen Teamnamen. Dabei könnt ihr gern kreativ werden, achtet aber darauf, dass sich andere Personen durch eure Wortwahl nicht herabgesetzt oder diskriminiert fühlen.
Anmeldung
Jedes Teammitglied muss sich einzeln anmelden. Dabei ist es wichtig, dass jede*r neben den persönlichen Daten im Anmeldeformular unter "Mannschaftsname" den gewählten Teamnamen einträgt. Nur so können wir euch nachher korrekt zuordnen.
EINZELLÄUFER*INNEN KÖNNEN SICH EBENFALLS ANMELDEN! ES WERDEN SAMMELTEAMS GEBILDET.
Bitte dann beim Mannschaftsnamen "ohne Team" vermerken.
Event und Wertungskategorien
Treffpunkt für die Firmenstaffel ist am 02.07.2026, ab 16 Uhr im Elbauenpark im Areal der Magdeburger Hochschulen. Der Startschuss fällt um 18 Uhr. Es wird nacheinander eine Strecke von rund 3 km zurückgelegt. Im Anschluss werden die Sieger*innen gekürt.
Das Firmenstaffel EVENT wird in folgenden Teamkategorien absolviert:
- Herren: 5 männliche Teilnehmer
- Damen: 5 weibliche Teilnehmerinnen
- Mixed: mind. 1 männlicher oder 2 weibliche Teilnehmerinnen
Wie in den vergangenen Jahren gibt es neben den regulären Wertungen auch wieder die Hochschulwertung. Wir treten dabei gegen das Universitätsklinikum Magdeburg (UMMD) und die Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal an. Dafür führen wir vor der offiziellen Siegerehrung durch den Veranstalter auch eine hochschulinterne Siegerehrung bei uns im Hochschulareal durch. Anschließend erwartet alle noch die große After-Run-Party mit Live-Musik und viel Spaß!
Achtung: Unsere Plätze sind auf 200 (also 40 Teams) begrenzt.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the big live corporate relay event will take place at Elbauenpark. Teams of five will run a relay race covering 5 x 3 km. All university affiliates—including staff, students, and trainees—are welcome to participate. In total, more than 100 companies from the region will participate, with approximately 5,000 runners.
So get together in teams of five and appoint a team captain. Experience has shown that it’s also a good idea to designate a substitute runner from the start who can step in if necessary. You’ll also need a team name. Feel free to get creative, but make sure your choice of words doesn’t make others feel belittled or discriminated against.
Registration
Each team member must register individually. It’s important that everyone enters the chosen team name under “Team Name” on the registration form, in addition to their personal information. This is the only way we can correctly assign you to your team afterward.
INDIVIDUAL RUNNERS CAN ALSO REGISTER! MIXED TEAMS WILL BE FORMED.
Event and Competition Categories
The meeting point for the corporate relay race is on July 2, 2026, starting at 4:00 p.m. at Elbauenpark on the Magdeburg university campus. The race begins at 6:00 p.m. Participants will run a course of approximately 3 km in succession. The winners will be announced afterward.
The Corporate Relay EVENT will be held in the following team categories:
Men: 5 male participants
Women: 5 female participants
Mixed: at least 1 male or 2 female participants
As in previous years, in addition to the regular categories, there will also be a university category. We will be competing against the University Medical Center Magdeburg (UMMD) and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. For this, we will also hold an internal university awards ceremony on our campus before the official awards ceremony conducted by the organizer. Afterward, everyone can look forward to the big after-run party with live music and lots of fun!
Please note: We are limited to 200 participants (i.e., 40 teams).
Registration for the Company Relay EVENT
- Each team member must register individually
- To do so, select the appropriate format “Company Relay EVENT” here in the system and click ‘Book’
- Enter your personal information + team name (“OVGU-xxx”) under “Team Name” and save the booking confirmation
- Once the entire team has successfully registered (i.e., 5 individual bookings with the same team name), the Sports Center* will register all OVGU teams with the Company Relay organizer, freshpepper
- On the day of the event, the organizing team will set up a meeting point with a company tent and fruit supplies in Elbauenpark.
- Participants will receive separate information about this via email.
